Rare Metal sign for the LIRR ‘Dashing Commuter”

This old sign either hung at a railroad station or on a train. Heavy metal (aluminum?) with the graphics from a decal. The Dashing Commuter was actually before Dashing Dan was used. True Long Island history!

Small very early gameboard-only app. 12″ square. The sides have bamboo. It appears to have led a previous life as a garden table top. As cute as they come!!

This one has a white plaskon cabinet with a brown bakelite speaker “sound deflector”

His dog Fala made the scotch terrier very popular in the 30′s.

Scarce 3 piece RCA Repair Shop Flange Sign

This once hung outside a radio repair shopback in the 30′s- thegolden age of radio-and is in excellent condition. I assume it is from the Pennsylvania or New Jersey area. The other side of the center section says “free tube testing”

Concentric Grill Emerson Radio
